Irit Aviv is a PhD alumna of the Department of Psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Her research focuses on understanding the psychological factors underlying recovery from mild traumatic brain injury in children. Specifically, she examines the relationship between emotional, parental, and social characteristics in the development and persistence of post-concussion symptoms in children.

Irit is a certified educational psychologist. She received her MA in Cognitive Psychology from Tel Aviv University and her BA in Psychology, Communication, and Art from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
